Milton is a Great Place!
Milton made a tremendous buzz after the announcement following the 2006 Consensus that it was the fastest growing community in Canada. Between 2001 and 2006, Milton’s population increased by 71.4%. This once small town is now approaching a population of 75,000 and growing.

Milton is located 40kms west of Toronto in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and is on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, the same escarpment over which the Niagara River plunges to form Niagara Falls. The Niagara Escarpment has been declared a UNESCO world biosphere reserve.

Milton is close to some of the best parklands in Southern Ontario, which include The Bruce Trail, Crawford Lake Conservation Area, Kelso Conservation Area, Mount Nemo Conservation area, Mountsberg Conservation Area, Milton Heights Campgrounds, Milton Mill Pond & Rotary Park, and Rattlesnake Point, the latter receiving its name from the snake-like course of the escarpment and not from the venomous viper.
